My Story
In 2006, my father went to bed for the night and went into cardiac arrest. My mother knew something was wrong and called 911, but due to her own limitations, could not do more than that.
As is the case for many others, by the time the paramedics arrived, my father’s fate was already determined. He passed away by the time he arrived at the hospital.
Our chance of survival is exponentially increased when the people we live with know what to do an emergency.
In 2008, I became a CPR & First Aid Instructor and also became a teacher to help others learn how to instruct classes. The fact is: the more of us in our community that know CPR, the better of we ALL are.
And so began my mission to train as many members of our community as possible. Schools, daycares, churches, medical offices, dental offices, warehouses, parents, babysitters, and just average everyday people.
Children as young as 11 years old can become certified. And younger children can learn the basic skills.
